Do you enjoy operating in contests? How about considering joining GMCC to add to our club score totals for most contests, DX and domestic? GMCC regularly places in the top 20 among the Unlimited class for most major contests and could really benefit from your score, no matter how large or small.   GMCC has teams for NCJ NAQP and Sprint contests as well.

Please join us for an upcoming club meeting at the QTH of Dan Norman, NØHF in Boulder County. It’s open to all current and prospective members. GMCC is on a campaign to bring in new members of all backgrounds and abilities.

WHERE: 7856 Baseline Road, Boulder, CO 80303

Between Boulder and Lafayette on Baseline Road, South side, between N76th and 95th St. Number is on the mailbox and look for a “GMCC” sign near it. We’ll have a 2 hour meeting with plenty of chatting and a small agenda for ARRL “legal” purposes. We will be meeting our new President – Ken, WØETT from Parker, CO.   I will provide drinks (pop, iced tea, coffee or tea), if you wish to bring a munchie to share, that’d be great.   Talk in: 164.52 MHz or call (303) 554-8997 for directions.

The Ham Radio Contesting Web site of Colorado	More new members have come on board that we need to announce K6XT Art comes to us excited about being a contributing member to the ranks of GMCC. Let Welcome Art. Plus a long time friend W0MU Mike. Mike has an extensive background in computers plus he is a excellent contester. Lets welcome Mike to GMCC. It is with a sad heart that our next new member isnt here with us now. But we need to mention that Russ N0RK is a silent key of late. Russ had just recently joined GMCC and was starting to enjoy contesting from various stations in Colorado. Many of the members with GMCC remember Russ as a young excited ham enjoying the contest world from KT5E Jay's station and along with his friend W0MU station in Colorado and Montana. Lets keep Russ dream alive in contesting. I would add this short narrative since all have been with GMCC for a while but its over due...
